Blond; This early, all hard plastic Elise is wearing the hard to find aqua blue, lace gown. She has a very pretty face with nearly perfect paint: just a dot missing in blush on her right side. Very pretty, well styled hair which surprised me when I found with closer inspection it is very thin in back. Small seam crack on one leg otherwise body is near mint. Her gown is massed with rows and rows of lovely lace and has a sprig of flowers at the waist. I could find no flaws other than the gentle look of age. Its original, huge, aqua crinoline shapes her gown; it has an attached large ruffle of a horse-hair-like fabric that supports its form. Its waist elastic has relaxed. She has original Elise high heels with its typical stretched elastic and panties. This Elise carries time and imperfection well.

Blond hair. This cornflower blue, Elise fashion is a very hard to find FAO Schwartz exclusive. Elise's beautiful face has near mint paint, but you may be able to see in the photo the minor change in her skin tone which isn't enough to detract from her looks. Her thick shiny hair has its original factory ties. Her body is near mint with no cracks or real flaws. The cornflower blue gown is dotted with rhinestones and has a corsage of roses at the shoulder. The top layer of netting is beautifully detailed with knife pleats. An addition of netting encircles the gown below the waist and has a scattering of roses and rhinestones. A blue, full length, attached skirt lines the pleated tulle. This gown does have signs of age, and there's a tear at side hem, but again, the pluses dominate. Underneath she wears a long white petticoat (stretched elastic), labeled Elise, and white panties. She is wearing the highest of the Elise heels (stretched elastic was tacked to fit.). She wears original Alexander "diamond" earrings. |

Blond; Absolutely beautiful, early bridal fashion with the embroidered wreaths at hem. This favorite style was also done for Cissy and Cissete. The "Elise" tagged gown is almost free of breaks in netting; I found two. Attached full length underskirt has a longer tear that is not visible through netting. It has the typical, subtle aging signs even though the upper skirt does not. The original petticoat (a couple of similar tears) has an additional ruffle of very stiff netting for form. Its original, floor length veil (with one tiny hole and one repair) has a circular crown of flowers. White panties. Original bouquet of flowers with white satin ribbon is near mint. Replaced white satin slippers. Her soft peach facial coloring is near mint. One section of left eyelashes is just slightly shorter than the rest; I do not know if this was original or not. Her hair is not in its original set. Body is nice with only a small seam crack at knee, otherwise near mint. Perfect to model this favorite bridal fashion. |

16"; Dark Brunette. Rare doll. Gorgeous face with perfect paint & coloring. Her long, dark hair is in its original set which is a classic Scarlett style. She is all hard plastic. Her body is fully jointed including ankle joints that allow for both Elise-style heels: low and high. This pink version of this rare fashion has a very, very full skirt. Its detailed with scattered flowers, lace, and pin tucks running its length. A wide, pink satin ribbon wraps around her waist making a bow in back with its ties draping down her skirt. Gown is tagged "Elise". There are matching pink satin ties on her exquisite picture hat which is crowned with pink and white flowers. Black high heels are correct with this outfit, but I don't believe these are the originals. Her original undergarments are her full length petticoat and lace trimmed pantaloons. This superb image of Tara's finest will always be a favorite. |
